The Coomalie region is located in the Northern Territory of Australia. It covers an area of 10,988 square kilometers and has a population of approximately 1,700 people. The region is named after the Coomalie Creek, which flows through the area.

One of the main towns in the Coomalie region is Batchelor, which is home to the Batchelor Institute of Indigenous Tertiary Education. The region is also known for its scenic attractions, including Litchfield National Park, which is located to the west of Batchelor. The park is known for its waterfalls, swimming holes and bushwalking trails. Other natural attractions in the region include the Adelaide River and Berry Springs.

The region is also home to a number of historic sites, such as the Adelaide River War Cemetery, which is the resting place for many of the Australian soldiers who died during World War II.
