The Coomalie region is located in the Northern Territory of Australia. It covers an area of 10,988 square kilometers and has a population of approximately 1,700 people. The region is named after the Coomalie Creek, which flows through the area.
One of the main towns in the Coomalie region is Batchelor, which is home to the Batchelor Institute of Indigenous Tertiary Education.
